Accessibility Statement

We want this website to be straightforward to use

G&M Property Maintenance aims to provide an accessible website. Learn about the intended standard, available support and how to report a problem.

Accessibility statement

If a page, form or document creates a barrier, tell us what you were trying to do and what would help.

G&M Property Maintenance wants customers to be able to understand the services, read the guidance and send an enquiry regardless of disability, device or the way they use the web.

Our accessibility aim

The website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. These guidelines cover matters such as readable text, keyboard use, headings, contrast, labels, error messages, alternatives for meaningful images and content that works with assistive technology.

Accessibility is not a one-off badge. Content and functionality should be reviewed when the website changes.

What you should be able to do

The website is intended to let you:

  • zoom and resize text without losing essential content;
  • navigate using a keyboard;
  • see a visible focus indicator;
  • understand headings and link wording;
  • use forms with clear labels, instructions and errors;
  • pause or avoid non-essential motion;
  • read meaningful alternative text for service images;
  • use a screen reader with a sensible page order.

If you need information another way

If you cannot use a page or form, call 07891 904226 or use the contact page if that route is accessible to you. Explain:

  • the page or information you need;
  • the difficulty you encountered;
  • the format or adjustment that would help;
  • how we should contact you.

We will consider a reasonable way to provide the information or receive the enquiry.

Reporting a problem

Tell us the page address, device or browser if known, and what happened. You do not need to use technical language. For example: “I could not reach the send button with my keyboard” is enough to begin.

Third-party services

Some form, map, video or document functions may depend on another provider. We will still try to offer a practical alternative if that service creates a barrier.

Ongoing review

The statement should be reviewed after the final website has been tested and whenever major functionality changes. Any known limitation that cannot be corrected promptly should be described here with a practical alternative.

Report an accessibility problem or call 07891 904226 and say that you need accessibility support.
